This Cookie Policy explains how Network Admin Journey uses cookies and similar technologies on roadtoneteng.com, what each type does, and how you can accept, reject or change your choices at any time. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.

Change your choices now: you can review or withdraw your consent at any time by opening Cookie settings. Your new choice takes effect immediately.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. Each time you return to the site, or load another page, your browser sends the cookie back so the site can recognise your device. Cookies let a website remember things such as whether you are logged in, what is in your shopping cart and which cookie preferences you have chosen.
Cookies can be described in a few different ways:
- First-party cookies are set by the website you are visiting, in this case roadtoneteng.com.
- Third-party cookies are set by a different domain, for example an analytics or payment provider whose service is embedded in the page.
- Session cookies are deleted automatically when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies remain on your device until they expire or you delete them.
This policy also covers similar technologies that store or read information on your device, such as the browser’s local storage, which our interactive tools use (see section 6).
2. Why we ask for consent
Under the EU ePrivacy rules, the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the GDPR, we may only store or read non-essential cookies on your device with your prior consent. Strictly necessary cookies, which are needed to provide a service you have asked for, are exempt. We therefore use the CookieYes consent management platform to show a banner on your first visit. Non-essential cookies stay switched off unless and until you choose to allow them, and rejecting them is as easy as accepting them.
For visitors in California, analytics or marketing cookies could in some cases be considered “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA/CPRA. Because these cookies are only set after you opt in, and because we honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as an opt-out, you remain in control. More detail is available in the “Do not sell or share” section of our Privacy Policy.
3. Categories of cookies we use
3.1 Strictly necessary
These cookies are essential for the website to work and cannot be switched off in our cookie settings. They let you log in to your account, keep items in your cart while you move through checkout, remember your cookie choices and protect the site from attacks. They do not track you across other websites and are not used for marketing.
3.2 Functional
Functional cookies remember choices you make to give you a more convenient experience, for example remembering your name and email address for the next time you leave a blog comment, or remembering display preferences in the administration area. Some functional cookies are set only when you take a specific action, such as ticking a “remember me” box.
3.3 Analytics
Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the website, such as which guides are read most, how people reach them and where they leave. This tells us which topics to expand and which pages need improving. We only load analytics cookies if you accept the “Analytics” category in the cookie banner. Where possible, we configure analytics tools to minimise the data collected, for example by shortening IP addresses.
3.4 Marketing
Marketing (or advertising) cookies can be used to measure the effectiveness of campaigns or show relevant content on other websites. We do not currently run advertising on this website. If we introduce marketing tools in future, their cookies will only be set with your consent through the “Marketing” category, and we will update this policy and the table below before doing so.
4. Cookies used on this website
The table below lists the typical cookies set by the platform and plugins we use: WordPress, WooCommerce, CookieYes and Wordfence. Names ending in an asterisk (*) include a unique string, such as a hash of the site address or a session identifier. The exact set of cookies you receive depends on what you do on the site; for example, most visitors who only read articles will never receive login or cart cookies.

Our payment processors (for example Stripe or PayPal) may set their own cookies on the checkout page or on their own pages to process payments securely and prevent fraud. Those cookies are necessary to complete a payment you have requested and are governed by the payment processor’s own cookie and privacy notices.
The CookieYes banner can also scan the website periodically and display an up-to-date list of detected cookies in the Cookie settings panel. If you notice any difference between that list and this table, the banner list reflects what is currently detected, and we will update this page accordingly.
5. How to manage your consent
On your first visit, the cookie banner lets you:
- Accept all cookie categories;
- Reject all non-essential cookies, leaving only strictly necessary ones; or
- Customise your choice by switching individual categories (functional, analytics, marketing) on or off.
You can change your mind at any time by clicking Cookie settings, which is also available in the website footer. Withdrawing consent stops new non-essential cookies from being set, but cookies that were already placed may remain in your browser until they expire or you delete them using your browser settings (see below). We will ask for your consent again after 12 months, or sooner if we make significant changes to the cookies we use.
5.1 Browser controls
Most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies. You can usually find these controls in the browser’s settings under “Privacy”, “Security” or “Site data”. The official help pages for the most common browsers explain how:
- Google Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies or Site settings;
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Cookies and Site Data;
- Apple Safari: Settings or Preferences, then Privacy, then Manage Website Data;
- Microsoft Edge: Settings, then Cookies and site permissions.
Please note that if you block all cookies, including strictly necessary ones, some parts of the website will not work. In particular, you will not be able to log in to My account, add services to your cart or complete checkout, and the cookie banner will reappear on every visit because it cannot remember your choice.
5.2 Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of any analytics or marketing cookies that could be considered a sale or sharing of personal information. There is no common industry standard for the older “Do Not Track” signal, so we do not respond to it specifically, but you can achieve the same result by rejecting non-essential cookies in the banner.
6. Local storage used by our tools
Our network tools and learning roadmap use your browser’s local storage to save your progress, for example which roadmap milestones you have marked complete, and recent tool inputs or preferences, so they are still there the next time you visit. This information:
- is stored only on your device and in the browser you used;
- is not sent to our servers and is not visible to us;
- is not used for analytics, advertising or tracking;
- remains until you clear it.
Because this storage simply provides a feature you have chosen to use, it is treated as strictly necessary. You can clear it at any time by deleting the site data for roadtoneteng.com in your browser settings, or by using a reset option within the tool where one is provided. Clearing it will remove your saved roadmap progress, and it will not move between devices or browsers.
7. Third-party content and links
Our guides link to external resources such as vendor documentation and standards bodies. When you follow those links, the destination website may set its own cookies, which are outside our control and governed by that website’s own policies. We do not embed third-party advertising networks on our pages.
8. Updates to this policy
We review this Cookie Policy whenever we add, remove or change a plugin or service that affects the cookies used on the website, and at least once a year. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed. Where a change affects non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent again through the banner.
